Comments:
Moved w7why to 160 only to discover an infinite SWR. Squeezed a few watts into
the 40m de zepp and managed to work n6ro and w6nl with difficulty,
wedding anniversary got me a little sidetracked, so only 8 hours. Had a great
series on 40 at 180/hr. earlier on 15 some of the Europeans were stonger that
stateside signals. Glad to see KP2, KP4, VP2M and ZF2 for mults.
One station on 40m thanked me for my many years of providing sF in the
sweepstakes. Amused by the station calling CQ ss on 15 m. I mentioned it to
him. apparently he dialed in the wrong message and wasn't listening to what
was sent. Funny!
Always a pleasure to work stations in NAQP, even under these bad conditions.
