This was the first serious NAQP-SSB effort for all operators. We only used wire
antennas from our DXpedition location near Freeport, Bahamas. We had a blast!
No beams, no rotators, no big contesting equipment, no internet access, and no
spotting. Our two rigs were an Icom IC-7000 and an Icom IC-718. We only used
what we could fit into two suitcases each except for the inverted 'V's that
were already there. Not too much activity outside the US and Canada so we were
happy to give out a new North American multiplier to most stations. All ops
were authorized to operate by the URCA in the Bahamas.
