Comments:
Lots of fun! Ended up spending lots more time in the NAQP than the VHF contest.
Hit 20 meters at the right time. Found a nice hole at 14.170 and ran that freq
for just over an hour before I got bumped. Peaked at 160/hr and logged 130 in
the one hour snap shot. Ran a bit on 40 80 and 160 but rates were no where near
the 20 meter rate. I did get a decent run going for a short time at 100/hour on
80m towards the end, but my noise level was peaking S9 plus. I'm sure I missed
a bunch of Q's. Worked lots of SMC, but only got 2/3 of Red "Solo"
Cup". Looking forward to NAQP RTTY in February
Station conditions: Icom IC-756PROIII 100 watts, D4 rotatable dipole 10-40 at
37' Alpha Delta DX-LB at 35' 80m and W8AMZ short half sloper 160m 35' apex. 73
