Comments:
Bit different to do this contest here at home instead of ZD8 where I was last
time...
Must be one of my poorest scores on 13 z session. I cranked up my still empty
tower with 80 m dipole on it but no stations there. 40 was curiously slow and
20 was not even really opening until at the very end. It was near complete
darkness here still at the end of the session, so I guess all this was
expected. 19 z and 03 z will be better times for me here in CA. I wired up
one of my old amps, Alpha 78 to test it on these 3 sessions before packing it
to take to VE2/zone 2 next week for CQWW CW contest 10 days from now. It is
still great piece of equipment and real workhorse !
Antennas: 40 m vertical with few radials and A3S yagi up 30 ft.
