Comments:

Interesting Contest. Several years ago, I got a clean sweep in 3.5 hours. Last
year, I did it in about 6.5 hours. This year, at the 3.5 hour mark, I only had
50 mults! I did all my usual tricks, but was rather surprised at how many
mults were missing. I finally got the sweep about 8:45 in, when K6AQL made it
to Merced county. I did eventually work another Merced, but only one Sierra
made it into the log. I figure, someone else will get the "fastest"
this year!

Never could get a run going on CW. Did get some decent runs on SSB,
particularly on Sunday. 10M was good both days to Calif, with some really big
signals. I was surprised at how loud many of the stations were on 160M; I
thought N6O was a local!

All in all, another fun weekend working California. Thanks to Krassy K1LZ for
the use of his great station.
