Comments:
Another very active night. Quiet bands. Had a luke-warm start on 15, where the
west coasters were booming and all else was ESP. Had my best last five minute
segment as actually seemed to get people on 80 for a change.
Tnx to W5JAW in Austin for getting on and doing well, and for me a four bagger
and four otherwise none mults as never heard NM5M at all. Others with a thank
you for three bands were N7XU, N6RO, W4NZ, K1GU, and W4OC. My apologies for an
especially horrible QLF to N4AF.
Kudos to Hank, W6SX, who does so great with his simple wire. He must have a
super location. I always hear that SX and he always seems to hear me. Also, to
Dan remote from Tokyo with WA6URY. Nice to hear Andy, N2NT, tuning up for the
"Show" in a few weeks. And nice to hear VE3KI as well.
Five minute segments were: 8, 9, 10, 10, 8, and a nice 10 to finish.
Very nice picker-upper on Thursday night. Now, for a glass of single malt and
try to relax with a the US Open tennis. 73, Jim N3BB
