Comments:
That was frustrating. I was hoping for a good solid sporadic E opening like two
years ago, but it wasn't to be. I pretty much worked everyone I heard. Just two
short openings to Texas and a short opening to Florida. I also decoded a station
in Georgia overnight on 6m FSK441. I didn't have WSJT set to save recordings, so
I'm not sure if the decode came via MS or sporadic E.
Thanks to K8GP for the QSOs on 2m and 70cm. I stood out on my balcony with my
FT-817 to get QSOs on those two bands. Tried to get them on 222 FM, but I
clearly needed a better antenna than the stock rubber duck for that. I'll have
to put together a better antenna and maybe make a 222 QSO in the UHF contest!
