Was op'ing RUDX and finally, at 0355z, I remembered I was gonna try to make a
few QSOs in the sprint.
This is probably a good weekend for this event with regard to propagation but
the conflict with RUDX, BARTG RTTY, OkQP & VaQP will always exist, and will
always be a factor. Since the contest is trying to re-establish its niche,
would the organizers maybe consider trying to run this event (this particular
one only) on Friday night? I recognize the issue for western US ops as far as
getting home from work in time and all, but is there any other reason it
wouldn't work? With regard to the aforementioned events, the only conflict
would be with the BARTG RTTY - and that not til after 0200z. The NCCC Friday
night practice sessions seem to be popular. I figure sprinters will find a way
to sprint whenever it happens.
