Comments:
Great fun! Bands were in good shape, except 10M which didn't offer any polar
opening to Europe at all.
This score won't be competitive with those from further East, but it's a big
jump from any previous BERU for me. Fun to use the reversible 2-element 40M
quad with some power to make it work. Seemed to find a lot more G and ZL/VK
activity on 40M with that little bit of gain on those headings. Almost as many
points on 40M as on 15M, with just over half the Qs.
Took breaks at the right times for this end of the continent. Will want to
repeat that pattern next year.
Happy to work quite a few tough-from-VE7 African DX stations in the mix today.
