A couple of hours of jogging on ten - one Saturday and one
Sunday morning, otherwise lots of time spinning the knobs.
Luckily I have remote tuning pods on both radios so it
isn't too painful. One of the Orions needed to be rebooted
a lot, maybe due to the large amount of band changing
and tuning? Late in the contest I found that the RX366
second receiver keeps working even when the main one just
puts out garbage - normally I keep the second receiver
off during contests because there is a slight amount of
audio bleedthrough even with the audio disabled by pushing
the second RX audio knob.

The beverages didn't work on 160 again - had lots of
QRN so didn't spend too much time there. I had to remove
them temporarily in January to get a tree crane in and
remove a few big trees - one of them was being supported
by a few smaller trees and was threatening the tower
guy wires. The beverages seem to have some directivity
on daytime noise sources, but don't seem to work at night!

JA activity seemed very disappointing from here.
