Why are people still calling CQ *AFTER* 0300 UTC ???
Why are people still calling CQ *AFTER* 0300 UTC ???
Why are people still calling CQ *AFTER* 0300 UTC ???
AND, why are people answering those who call CQ *AFTER* 0300 UTC ??? This is
the Official NSL - NOT an NS Practice (where such things are NOT allowed
either). Gheeeeeeeeez. I am very A N A L about this and it really gives me a
Monster Wedgie ;-(
Below 14.040 remains mostly a *WASTELAND* (where I keep *WASTING* my time
calling CQ down there for the most part). I hate it when that happens.
20m started off great with LOUD signals and 3 Q's in the first minute. Then
things went downhill fast, as had some erratic remote keying problems and the
night seemed out-of-sync for me until the last couple of minutes.
*** END OF WHINING SECTION ***
Two nice surprises of the evening:
1. Finally out of a mostly zero-beat pileup I picked out 'RE' and assumed that
was MikeIN/W9RE and sent my exchange. HA! It was Mike alright, but he turned
out to be VP2MRE :^)
2. For the 2nd week in a row, getting called by Mr. Booga (JimTX/N3BB) once
again /M mobile with a LOUD signal on 40m was also a real treat!
73 & Tnx for the Q's and Mults I managed to fumble my way through...
