Comments:
I had all kinds of excuses prepared (I partially tore my CW sending side rotator
cuff) but I think this is actually the highest score I've had from my 500w to a
wire home station. To stretch my shoulder I had to stand up quite a bit and
when I sat back down the shack chair hydraulics would give out and I'd end up
sending from about 1 foot off the floor. I was going to yell out and see if my
wife would bring down an ice pack but then I'd have to have an existential
debate on CQ-CONTEST about assisted operating...
Conditions were FB on all bands. I wasted time going back to 40 late in the
contest and heard NP4Z work someone so wasted more time there trying to snare
him. Missed a few other mults I heard (Howie N4AF beat me for VE6EX, heard a
CO2, etc.) and someone jumping the gun on calling before I confirmed will
probably cost me the KL7RA mult. I purposedly worked some VE7s in the BCQP
earlier in the day, but none of them came to the Sprint to return the favor.
As always, the most fun in contesting.
