Comments:
Nice contest, condx to US/VE seemed to be better 2nd night for us. Managed to
work 211 US/VE initials nicely divided between both stints. Although we
specially put up this time a second beverage towards JA, no JA worked...Also
interesting to watch the band opening, around 03:00 UTC in 10 minutes time the
bandmap went from almost no US/VE (local)skimmer spots to fully loaded ....
Have a look at our online log at 160.pc5m.com to see if you are in....
Station is field day style. We build the station mainly during Friday and
dismantle it on Sunday afternoon. Last part of contest on Sunday evening we
operated barefoot and with low inverted L TX ant.
TX: 90 feet/28 mtrs vertical, 40+ radials
RX: single 300 mtrs beverage (US/VE) and 200 mtrs bidirectional beverage
(JA/PY).
Tnx for all calling and see you next year,
73's PC5M contest team.
