Comments:
Not as good as I had hoped. I ended up having to solve a problem with my N3FJP
Logging Program. My log seemed to have loaded fine. I had worked 16 QSO's on
10M when I worked NP4Z. The logging program would not register his Puerto Rico
location. I then found the log in my external hard drive files. I couldn't get
the program to load NP4Z's location so I resorted to trying to load it into the
program BUI Log manually. I had the sense that before I did anything I backed up
the BUI Log and then printed a copy. It turned out that the latest N3FJP program
is 3.1beta. I reread the instructions and uninstalled the old program before
trying to load the new 3.1 program into my "M" External Hard Drive. I could not
get it to install, I think because the residual reference files still were
contained with the programs for other event logs. I finally had to install the
NAQP Program in my main "C" drive and then manually recreate the log of the
stations I had already worked. Once I did that the log functioned well, but in
the process I had lost 1.5 hours of operating time. Last year in this same
event I made 92 QSO's in 55 mults, so this time I came up 16 QSO's and 10
mults short of last years score. Last week, on CW, I used the 2.7 version of
the program. The new version was released just this past week. Hopefully I
won't have this problem in the Summer NAQP events. Special thanks to the KBer's
who gave me points on 80M between 03:00 and 05:00Z. Bert, K6CSL
