Comments:
Very strange evening here. The west coast stations were very weak: no copy at
all on 20, weak on 40, with a little better on 80. I was not sure I was going
to get a single CA contact for a long time. I have some sort of problem with my
NE beverage and also the antenna connections to the left station, and so ran the
NS with only one radio.
Not a single station made it on three bands. All in all, a strange night here,
but very happy to see the Ladder start again. I need to spend some time tracing
my internal antenna switching system problem out and getting the station cleaned
up.
Nice to work WI0WA and KS4L. Please some back and be regulars. Also, thanks to
Dave, N5DO, out in Alpine (West Texas) for getting on for what is becoming a
rare Texas mult for me.
Five minute segments: 5, 8, 8, 8, 7, and 7. 80 and 160 are really active in
these winter NSs, and I need to get back to SO2Ring again. Many, many stations
were ahead of me on numbers. Congrats to a lot of very good operating. Tnx to
N6ZFO and the NCCC, plus the 3830 support for the best 30 minutes in ham
radio.
