Comments:
Thanks again to Jim, W6YI, for letting me use the station for the weekend.
Everything was all set up when I got here, and nothing broke during the
contest.
Conditions were a major disappointment. I was really hoping for a good EU
opening on 10m Sunday, but it wasnt meant to be. 80 and 160 were especially
difficult for me this year. We have had a new noise issue crop up here in the
last few months which made copy on 160 difficult at times. I spent a lot of
time there trying to find mults, but wasnt having any luck. My 80m numbers are
the worst I've ever had for WW CW. I only worked 1 EU the first night, and
while conditions were better the 2nd night, it was still a struggle to get them
to hear me. Maybe one of these years I will figure out how to get a decent mult
total on 20m from here.
The highlight of the contest for me was having A52SV call in on 20m.
After doing 4 major contests in the last 5 weeks, it will be nice getting back
to the real world.
73,
Dan N6MJ
