Comments:
- Pretty decent conditions overall, but 10 really never did open very
consistently like I'd hoped. 80 was better than 40 and 15 was better than 20.
I was able to run quite a bit on 15 and even on 20 which was a pleasant
surprise.
I was pleased with my score and especially getting the sweep - a lot of fun. I
took a fair amount of time off just to keep it from being too tedious and was
able to spend some time with my family. Congratulations to KD0S on a very
impressive QRP score from SD.
The ND0C superstation:
Yaesu FT-897D running 5 watts
Wilson SY-3 three element tribander at 48 feet and inverted vee with apex at
45 feet
Heil mic and N3FJP logging software
73,
Randy, ND0C
As always: "You don't have to be crazy to run QRP in a contest ... but it
helps!"
