A beautiful day to be driving around Ohio. Conditions were rather flat at the
start, picked up in the late afternoon, and weren't bad at night other than the
usual generic everybody work everybody RTTY contest QRMing 40 meters.
The only problem, a small one, arose when the Hustler resonators became loose
in Knox county (too many encounters with low hanging trees, I guess). We
stopped to fix that, and noticed that spiders had webs going among the
resonators and even from the Ham Stick in the front to the Hustlers in the
back. I don't think it mattered RF wise, but it was impressive what they were
able to do at 50 MPH.
Thanks to all who participated!
