Comments:
Band conditions were very poor. At one time I started on 80 and went up and down
the SSB portion, proceed to 40 then 20, then 15, and then 10 SIX times before I
heard a station that was in the contest. I was hearing others that were caling
DX or just rag chewing. Another time I caled CQ 100 times on 40 before getting
a response. I was able to work almost every station that I heard. Everything on
my end showed that my equipment was working right. Sometimes I would hear maybe
50 stations on 40 meters but none were in the contest. Enjoyed the contest but
sure wish I could have worked more stations.
