Comments:
Despite the very poor conditions caused by the big solar flare, there seemed to
be a lot of activity. The JAs seemed plentiful, but very hard to copy on the
noisy low bands, especially late in the contest. Very few Europeans were
worked, which was a big disappointment.
Almost 50% of my QSOs were logged in ITU Zones 8 or 45.
I'm glad I entered as CW only. Phone must have been awful this weekend.
The good news for me was that both K3s worked fine after some recent repairs.
I do like the new AGC improvements. I had no station troubles whatsoever.
Everything performed well.
Congrats to all the tought West Coast competitors who stuck it out this
weekend: K6XX, K6AW (AK6W@N6RO), W6NV, W6YI (K6AM), K6NA, NK7U (N6MJ), etc.
