Comments:
Always an exercise in frustration doing phone on "TOP".(hi)
Got on for 45 mins to an hour each night. 50% S&P / 50% RUN
Pet Peeve:
Each night had at least several callers call me 200-300Hz off frequency.
One guy was so far off that I actually asked him to "get on my frequency".
I must've sounded like Alvin the Chipmunk to him, as he sounded like a mushy
Darth Vader in a cardboard box to me. I think this surely must be a product
of skimmer spots and guys click on spots and then don't retune (how can you not
tune in an SSB signal on your own?)
Note: How do I get ahold of WA7BNM to add the June Maritime QSO Party to his
calendar? We tried last year and have tried this year--no response...is there
a secret handshake?
Thanks,
Mike VE9AA "NB"
