Comments:
Still fun in my 60th year in Ham Radio, but my last few hours were slow as
molasses. For a weekend with dire forecasts of no sunspots and poor condx, it
wasn't bad. Deeper pileups calling in than ever it seemed at times, but I think
N4ZR hit the nail on the head; click and shoot guys are all dead zero beat so I
hear guys complaining that their radios can't hack it. I'm still learning my
FTDX5000 after over a year, but there are no casual pileups as big as during
the big contests to experiment on.
New sleep strategies worked for me, including 5 Hour Energy, but timed so it
hopefully wouldn't keep me awake when I WANTED to sleep. Still learning more
features in N1MM logger and figure when I hit 100 I'll have learned them all
(but no doubt forgotten them...hi) JACK W1WEF
