Comments:
I've been posting announcements about contesting and contests to my local club
for the last year or so. There is a new ham who contacted me with a couple of
questions about the NAQP. Before he contacted me, I wasn't planning on working
the contest, but seeing that it was limited to 100 watts and no spotting allowed
I figured it was a good match for my station. Unfortunately, my operating time
was a little limited because I hadn't cleared the contest with the XYL (you
gotta keep Mama happy), so I worked when I could and did hunny-dos when I
needed to do those.
