Comments:
Nice to be able to take part in these Thursday events. They occur right after I
get home from rehearsal with my jazz quartet and it's really fun. This was only
my third NS, so I'm still learning the ropes, and still sending by hand; haven't
had a chance to get my keying interface connected. My apologies to N3ZZ for
butchering my exchange!
Lots of QRN on 80m from the neighboring apartments makes it tough to hear the
weaker stations, but I made more Q's on 80 than 40 this time. Nice to work N0AC
on 2 bands. Also nice to work W0BH; he called me earlier today to order his SS
Clean Sweep mugs. Told ya I'd be on, Bob!
This is a fun event. I'll keep trying to get home each Thursday night in time
to participate. Next goal: break the 20-QSO barrier.
73,
Sean KX9X
