Good to spend a part of my evening with the dedicated denizens of Topband!
Was fooled into thinking all the indicators said "FB condx" (A/K at zero, very
low solar wind speed, quiet geomagnetic field, lack of NA thunderstorm
activity, nice propagation the nights B4, etc.) Wrong! The solar cycle still
rules...DX and long distance QSOs were in short supply.

Did enjoy working a nice number of distant W5, W7 and W0 stns out west who were
invisible in the recent ARRL 160m 'test. But where was the DX?
Enjoyed the runs early on and in the hour plus B4 sunrise.
Best DX: 1)KH6 2)CE1 3)OL1
Also believe SP participation seemed down; likely due to event date sked
*before Dec 25* vice week after. Thanks to all for the QSOs!
