Comments:
Pretty crazy conditions between TX and CO this weekend with some of the deepest
QSB episodes on 20 m in recent memory and 15 and 10 never opening. Mobile
signal strengths ranged anywhere from S9 to S0. W0ZA/M disappeared for hours
into a propagational black hole, but sill supplied valuable multipliers when
audible, as did W0HXB and W0ETT. 80 meters was open but noisy from the storm
in the Gulf. Never heard anyone on 160 meters. Many stations quit early, which
may have been a reason for reduced activity on the lower bands.
Congrats to ubiquitous John, N6MU, who undoubtedly will again claim first place
in this category. What an excellent operator he is!
Thanks for all the contacts. See you in the TX QSO Party later this month.
Rig: Omni V, wire dipoles, Aetherlog for Mac.
Chris, K5LH
