Comments:
First time in this ladder from up in WA!
First thing I had to update the computer with the
new NCCC Sprint module for Writelog by K0PC so I
had easy QSY and scoring on 15m. I didn't have time
to test the two-radio setup, so I played it safe
and stayed with one radio.
Of course, as soon as I started, Windows wanted to do
some update it had been waiting weeks to do. I finally
stopped that and got going a minute late.
15m was great with 13 contacts in 8 minutes, quickly
followed with 20m also great with 9 contacts in 6 minutes.
40m was noisy, but still gave 7 contacts in 7 minutes.
On 40m I heard a lots of East coasters that couldn't hear
me, darn! So many callsigns - so little time!
I went to 80m a bit early, at 0255Z, but picked up an easy
3 guys here in WA. I could hear the Californians, but
never got their attention.
Just to complete the all-band-sweep, I called CQ on 160m
for the last minute until DanWA found me!
So I had a fumbling start, and moved down to the low
bands too early, but the 5-band format is sure fun!
