Comments:
Just a few hours... Signals were very weak most of the time. Fortunately there
was not much QRM, and you could concentrate on the signals. And because the
rate was not high, you could also take your time to get it all right... :-)
Some statistics:
*** 511 QSOs, of which 3 were YLs.
*** Youngest OP was UH8A (21), oldest OP was JA6AP (82).
*** Average age was 55.3 years (!)
*** There were more OPs being 80 years or older (11) ...
*** ...than OPs being 30 years or younger (9)
*** China is the source of youth (most of the B-stations were 30-40)
I'm 44 years old now, and my first All Asian Contest was 30 years ago
in 1981 (599 14). Back then the majority of the contesters were in
their 20s, 30s and 40s. Now 30 years later it seems as if there are
still the same people in the contest - all just 30 years older... :-)
