Comments:
Rig : IC-7000, SB-220 from King Conversions.
Antennas : 6 Element 34'boom at 75' (Old Cushcraft boomer)
Soapbox : WOW!! Very good 6m conditions. Worked coast to coast, border to
border as well as HI3TEJ (FK49) & C6ABB (FL15). Never used any recording
devices i.e. F1. All phone contacts.
Had to QRT early both nights due to neighbors revolting. Running high power on
6 is still an issue with old TV's and crapy computers ;-(
Could have operated another 4-6 hours and worked just about everyone playing on
6. Time to either sell off all the 6M gear or move to the country!
Seemed like the good WX brought out a lot of rovers. GOOD JOB!!
Thanks to all who moved close to my freq. and QRM'd me. Especially K5QE who
swore he was on the freq. for many hours before me except that the spots on him
showed him up the band. Shame on him for not moving just a half kc up when asked
very politely to QSY. Might just have to put him on lid list dot com.
