Comments:
This one went fairly well for me. I usually make a better rate S&P early in the
contest, then once I've worked a lot of the loud stations I try to get a run or
two going and I had better luck holding onto my run frequency than usual --
sometimes sticking around for over an hour. Things slowed a bit the last half
day but enough of the "last couple hours" participants showed up to keep it
interesting and I never ran out of stations to work. Propagation was not
spectacular but it picked up a bit on Sunday and I had a strong opening to
Europe in the afternoon. The best propagation trick was when the ionosphere
presented me with a loud 6W on 15 meters several hours before his dawn. Always
a good idea to check 15 even when the propagation programs tell you not to
bother.
