Comments:
What a difference two weeks, 5000 miles and a decent antenna makes. KH6/AA4V was
fun but my 12 foot tall vertical antenna (Outbacker) in Kailua was no match for
the SteppIR yagi here at home. I returned to SC after an overnight flight from
Kona and by the time I got my bearings, it was Sunday morning. I got on about
10 AM local time and CQed a few times, giving out SC. I was amazed at how many
said I was a new mult. Conditions on 20 and 15 were very good although VERY
crowded. 10M was fun with good (but not loud) signals up to nearly 28600...just
like the good old days. First time to use the FTDX5000MP and Alpha 9500 in a
contest. Seemless....
