Comments:
NOT one of my better showings, hihi.
Condensation on the CW keys contacts in the mobile made sending a real chore.
Key had a mind of it's own most of the time, sorry about that. Probably the
worst (& most embarrassing)was with K4BAI because of the 3 - 4 tries it took me
to send his call correctly. Minus 28 degree windchill here right now so the next
time I will let the cow mobile warm up more before I go out in it to play in the
Sprint.
Band seemed kinds down, or was it because there a not a lot of participation?
Usually Minnesota, Colorado & others boom into here but not tonight.
Will be in the RTTY 'test this weekend along with the 160 meter SSB contest
from the mobile & will be using the newly installed (two weeks ago) 900 watt
solid state homebrew amplifier. Used it last week in the big CW 'test & it
performed flawlessly. Running it this weekend will again be it's trial by fire.
Best from North Dakota,
Tom KC0W
