Comments:
I had misread the rules and thought the contest was going to start on Saturday
evening. So I missed the first 5 hours on Friday evening. Oh well, the condx
weren't great so figured I could make up the time if I worked hard. But 40m
was dead and had to concentrate on 80/160m. Gave up at midnight as I figured I
would get a few hours of sleep and try early in the morning. Got up at 4:30AM
and didn't work a whole lot on 160/80 to justify it. But eventually the condx
improved and had a few nice runs. I haven't checked but think I did my best
RAC ever (from home QTH). One of the highlights was while running on 15m SSB
Saturday afternoon, got a call from ZS1 and he sounded local.
Overall, the condx weren't great but I had a good time with lots of runs both
SSB and CW. When one seemed to dry up, the other would be good.
Thanks to all for the QSOs and Seasons Greetings!
