Comments:
After seeing other west coast scores I don't feel quite as frustrated as during
the contest. . . a rough nite for sure. New antenna helped on 160 under poor
conditions; N6RO and W0YK v. weak, S2, but K0UK S9+. Hoping to have two
Beverages up by tomorrow. . . but today too many beverages at lunch with a
friend to get antenna work done . . in fact nearly missed the NS Ladder again,
this time due to late arrival home.
First three minutes on 40 produced no Q's. . . a couple jump balls lost, but
main problem was continuously hitting the wrong end of the couplet. Pure
statistics, but none-the-less frustrating.
Very enjoyable dinner in SF last night with Ethan, K8GU. Now some time to
catch up on score compilations and awards for previous ladder, etc.
