Comments:
I must admit, the earlier starting time for me is appreciated. Especially when
the alarm clock goes off at 5:00am.
What happened to the bands? 40 meters was great and for a while I thought a
new personal best would be easy. Ten minutes for 20 Qs is good for me. Then 80
meters came along. The band just seemed strange. I don't know if it was short
or long. Jim (N3BB) was the the west most station I worked and he was strong.
Yet I heard several east coast stations calling CQ and they could not hear me.
Twelve minutes for 16 Qs was not good. That only left 8 minutes for 160, and it
sounded better than 80. Just not enough time.
As always, another fun half hour.
73,
Bruce, N1LN
