Comments:
I kinda like this quiet sun stuff... Enough Solar flux to activate all the bands
with good signals to EU on 40, 20 and 15 for both days. Many thanks to all the
fine operators who activated all those rare one's for us! I haven't worked so
many Africans in one weekend since the 1980's! All done With a very old Classic
33 atop a even older 27' tall roof top tower, wires hung from a separate 35'
mast, red with 500W from a IC-2KL driven by a ailing IC746. I didn't want to
disturb my Inv Vees tuned for CW so I hung a loaded 40M sloping dipole from the
40ft VHF Mast and aimed at EU, What a difference!!!!!!!!!
Now that the torture of SSB is over we can get ready for the REAL contest...
CQ WW DX CW!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
