Two different days propagation wise. Saturday morning was fantastic to EU on
15m. Sunday EU was non existent on 15 and very weak on 20m with lots of polar
warble.
Worked E21YDP on 15m Sunday morning pointing NE from here when he should have
been NW. Thought it may have been long path but signals were non existant in
that direction and very weak on the correct azimuth. Weird propagation again!
EU was very weak early friday night on 40m and non existant Saturday night.
10m was open to deep SA (LU PY) but also to FO for a surprise QSO. Plenty of NA
signals heard but everyone was pointed south or E/W I guess. A little sporadic E
going on perhaps?
Nice catching VE5MX, and KD4POJ on 15m for close in contacts Sunday.
All in all a fun time. Hope conditions settle down for CQWW in 2 weeks. These
geomagnetic storms and flares kill us here under the aurora umbrella.
Took both afternoons off to attend to other events.
See you in the stew Perry warm up next week and the big one in 2 weeks!
