Comments:
My goal for this year was to improve on last years score and have fun. I made
the latter, as the contest was a blast. The former was pretty much a wash. More
Qs this year, but less mults. Thunderstorms shut me down on Saturday night and
Sunday morning for a couple of hours each. These are quite unusual here and I
lost my dipole in the storm Saturday night. Good thing the loop survived.
Without these shutdowns, I'm pretty sure I would have crushed last years score.
Conditions seemed pretty good. I had good rates(for me) at times on 20, 40 and
80 CW. I never could get any kind of run going on SSB, hence the low QSO count
there. I need better antennas or more power to run on SSB. I did have a lot of
fun on CW to make up for it. Thanks for all of the Qs and a great contest.
