Last year we operated in Honor of Jim White, K4OJ. This year, we chose to
honor Sandy Donohue, W4RU.
Good time was had by all through the usual technical challenges of getting a
multi two interfaced with "alien" (non-Icom) rigs at the Tampa ARC facility.
low bands were is so so shape, cant comment on high bands as I didnt get there
until later in the evening after driving in from West Palm Beach.
Everybody had a real good time, not only oerating, but fellowhip. No weather
issues, no big technical issues to speak of that couldnt be handled by running
a long chunk of coax. Every time we operate from TARC, we learn more and get
better.
Thanks to WA4AW for the use of the callsign. We hope you get lots of QSL card
requests from this operation so people remember Sandy.
Enjoyed watching the N4EEB Shack-Cam during the lulls in the action. John
makes the silliest faces when he is listening hard to weak signals :)
C U all with the TARC Contest Kindergarten Group in two weeks!
-Lu W4LT for the Ad Hoc Multi-Two Contest Gang.
