Comments:
This is my highest score out of all 10 weeks (by 20 pts). There were a few
places along the way with gaps, so always room to push a little harder. Bands
seemed in good shape tonight.
Since the 160M vertical hasn't been rebuilt yet, I decided to pull up the old
wire Tee vertical. It's a 45 ft. 4-wire cage with a 170ft(?) horizontal
top-wire. The aluminum vertical's base is exactly where this wire vertical
used to connect, so it was a quick job to pull it up (ropes still left in the
trees) and change the tap on the series base coil. 160M actually sounded
decent tonight, many signals well above the noise. I think the effort was
worth it considering 5 quick mults.
29 Qs in SNS.
