Comments:
This was the ideal contest to operate from W6FA-South, which has an excellent
view over the Catalina channel from 1200 ft elevation, but is completely
blocked to the North by 5700 ft Mt. Wilson !!
The rig was an ICOM-756 running 100 W to a R-8 all band vertical or a 40 meter
dipole. It wasn't a serious effort at 2.5 hours, but it was fun while it
lasted.
