Comments:
First time as SOAB in this contest in a very long time. Great fun.
If only 10 and 15 had opened the way they could have! Too far north and west.
Good openings on 20 but so little room. Temporary European antenna on 20 is a
short 3 ele at 40 feet fed with 1000 feet of LDF4 Heliax. This is a
replacement for the stacked 20s which were destroyed when the 120 ft tower fell
down in November. Worked 603 Europeans with this antenna. Worked no Europeans
on 15. I looked, but they were not there. Worked about 250 JAs total for all
bands. Also worked about 1700 USA stations.
Biggest surprise of contest was being called by ST2NH and getting #1 from him.
