Most fun I've had in a contest in years...Even though 20m was the money band,
15 was productive for a few hours Sat and also for the last hour of the contest
Sunday morning...
Worked 58 of the 88 Oblasts...Most worked DXCC's :
UA - 250
K - 175
DL - 119
UR - 107
Only 38 VE's, which surprised me a little...
Highlights: No frequency-stealing altercations, being called by a BD1 and a VU2
for contacts #9 and #10, and a huge pileup of EU on 80m which was large enough
to make things difficult Sat night...Good and bad at the same time I guess...My
80m INV-V usually doesn't attract huge 80m EU pileups...Also bettered my
previous personal best by almost a million points...
Lowlights: Deciding to go to bed at 0218z instead of working more on 80 and
160...I likely should have stayed up another 2-3 hours...Got 6 hours sleep...
This contest keeps getting better every year...
73, Scott VE1OP
