Comments:
I never really got into this one. Setting up I noticed that the TS-830S second
radio (turns 30 this year) would not key the amplifier most of the time - I
suspect the relay has given up after all these years. When I made the first
qso, I discovered I had not set up the keyer memories. Fixed that, but clearly
20 was going out to everywhere except N4OGW. Sixes, who were not loud, usually
did not come back to me, and several of those who did needed fills.
Forty was squeezed in between the cookie cutter RTTY test of the weekend and
the FOCers.
But I plugged on, running SO1R2C3D - One radio, two computers (read news online
between everything), and three displays - kept an eye on the Cavaliers game on
the TV.
Nice to once again hear some loud signals on 40 from places closer than Texas.
