Comments:
Not much sun today, but I prayed enough re-charging of the Locust Peak batteries
to do the full NS remotely tonight. Thank you, Lord!!!
Unfortunately, my 160m antenna is now whacked - no one could hear me, not even
N6ZFO or N5KO. I was on target for 50 Q's but the last few minutes on 160 were
zilch so just missed my secret goal of 50x30 and 1500 points. A close horse
race here with The Grand Exalted NS-Meister (N6ZFO). W0YK was conspiculously
missing tonight.
Nice to work Kelly/VE4XT & the rare MB Mult again - welcome back! Looks like
Alan/KO7X is now a regular. Cool. Bud/VA7ST you were loud down here tonight as
was Tom/W7WHY on 80m Condx on 40m/80m were great here except we gotta figure
out how to get rid of that digital junk that seems to also be a regular around
7038.
Overall it was a real rush tonight. So many sharp ops in the NS Sandbox
(K7NV-ism). Hopefully Kurt will rejoin us soon - I miss ya, buddy!
73 & Tnx for the Q's & Mults...
Rick, K6VVA * The Locust
