Comments:
After nearly 20 roves in ARRL VHF contests, we operated from my home QTH which
is about zero feet HAAT in WNY. Despite 6 and 2M Yagis on the tower, it was a
tough slog. Now to repackage the whole shebang for roving in June.
On the positive side, it was nice to finally use the 222 and 432 long boom
Handbook Quagis that I build many years ago. They performed very well.
My advice, if you have an average QTH with average equipment, GO ROVING!!
73, and look for K2QO/R in June!
