Comments:
Had a fun time, although conditions were rough on me and my wimpy station. I
did manage to better my QSO total by 100 Qs...I will not complain. My typical
lackluster results on 20M until I commit to some better antennas. Until then,
I am satisfied with my overall, and even had a nice run on 75M to get my
adrenaline going.
And yes, I am still using the old Heil HC-4 element blue-taped to my decrepit
PC headset. The J-38 foot switch is still going strong as well; a testament to
the quality of WW2-era design. Not to mention it feels great on my bare right
foot, also known as my PTT foot (sorry for TMI, but ham radio ought to be a
sensual experience as well as a cerebral one.)
Thanks one and all for the QSOs!

=====
Crunchy the FT857D running 100W to my Ghetto-Magic G5RV @ 28 1/2 feet (the
support rope is stretching faster than the tree is growing.)
One half of the GMG5RV acting as a short end-fed wire for 160M.
N1MM 9.12.something.
Caffeine. A lot of caffeine.
