Fantastic activity, fantastic contest. Tried really hard to run on 15 but the
wire was not up to the task. The yagi on 20 did fine, though.
Amazing to never work some of these big scorers? Can't believe I didn't work
N5KO, although CA on the high bands was pretty rare this year.
Household responsibilities closed in as the contest progressed, and when I came
back from a much-too-long break around 0000z, 20 was gone, 40 was iffy, and the
world had moved to 80m, which was not kind to westerners this year.
Congrats to those who heard my non-existent 160m signal -- still using my 80m
dipole on that band (and you know how those work!).
RIP Ken, one of the finest men you'll ever meet. Didn't feel like a real NAQP
without him.
