I started out just after midnight local time Saturday morning with the intent
of just handing out a few QSOs from my home station in Tujunga, Ca but my goal
quickly morphed into a "let see how many states we can work" kind of operation.
Worked 48 out of 50. I heard SC call someone, but never found them again. I
never did hear ND. Conditions seemed to be pretty good Friday night/Saturday
morning. I operated about 5 1/2 hours the second night from around 8PM local
until around 1:30 AM local on Sunday morning. Conditions were way down at for
the first few hours on the 2nd night, but picked up later. I even had a short
run of east coast stations around 11:30 AM local on Saturday night.
DX worked were 6Y, PJ2, HC, HC8, VP5, and C6. Heard CT1JLZ and ZF2AH, but
couldn't raise them. Great fun even from the confines of a 50 x 100' lot in
QRNville, Ca.
