Comments:

I tried the Limited Rover category since I had no partner for this run. In the
end, setup and operation took just as much effort as if I'd put together the
whole shebang. Nevertheless, it was very neat concentrating all my effort on
just the lower 4 bands. Conditions were at times very good with some very deep
QSB.

Murphy showed up on my very first 6M QSO. Upon keying the radio my 222 setup
went crazy! I used my K2 to driver the XV222 for what I thought would be a
super combo. Unfortunately, energy from 6M was trashing the IF radio.
Thankfully, I brought the manual for the XV222 along with my FT817 as a backup
radio. I simply modified the XV to handle 5W from the 817 and I was rolling
again.

The biggest highlight was working KA2LIM on all 4 bands from all 6 grids which
I activated. (FN02, 03, 12, 13, 22, 23)

See you all in the January Sweeps!
